Al Salam Hospitals Delivers Heart Saver First Aid Training to Smart Care Educational Nurseries

The Medical Development Center at Al Salam Hospitals conducted a comprehensive Heart saver First Aid Course for the teaching and administrative staff of Smart Care Educational Nurseries on 11 April 2026. The session marked the first collaboration of its kind between the two entities.

A total of 10 participants attended, representing teachers and administrative staff responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children. The program followed American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines, aligning with internationally recognized standards in emergency response.

The course focused on essential life-saving skills, including recognizing emergency situations, managing choking incidents, and administering basic first aid for injuries and sudden illnesses. Through a mix of interactive instruction, hands-on practice, and real-life simulations, participants developed the confidence and skills needed to respond effectively in critical situations.

This initiative underscores the importance of preparedness in childcare environments, where timely intervention can significantly impact outcomes. By equipping participants with these capabilities, the Medical Development Center continues to support safer learning environments across the community.

Following the training, participants were assessed by an AHA-certified instructor using official evaluation criteria. All participants successfully demonstrated the required competencies and received American Heart Association certification, valid for two years.

The successful delivery of this course reflects the Center’s ongoing commitment to high-quality training and community engagement. As an accredited training provider, the Medical Development Center at Al Salam Hospitals delivers tailored programs across education, corporate, and healthcare sectors.

Al Salam Hospitals looks forward to building on this partnership with Smart Care Educational Nurseries and expanding future collaborations focused on health, safety, and emergency preparedness.
