SAHH Launches “Little Health Heroes @ Al Salam” Program with First School Visit

Al Salam Al Ahmadi Hospital (SAHH) launched the “Little Health Heroes @ Al Salam” program, welcoming students aged 6 to 10 from Al Resala Bilingual School for an educational visit designed to build health awareness through interactive, hands-on learning across multiple hospital departments.

The visit began with a session led by doctors from the Pediatrics Department, who introduced students to healthy daily habits and explained the proper use of antibiotics to protect overall health.

Students then participated in a practical workshop titled “How First Aid Can Save Lives,” where they learned basic emergency response skills and the importance of acting quickly and correctly in urgent situations. This was followed by an interactive session on proper hand hygiene, highlighting its critical role in preventing infections and limiting the spread of disease.

The program also included a guided tour of the Dental Department, focusing on oral health awareness and preventive care. In addition, the Physical Therapy Department hosted an engaging session that underscored the importance of movement, exercise, and flexibility in supporting healthy growth and development.

This initiative reflects the hospital’s commitment to community engagement and to equipping younger generations with essential health knowledge from an early age. Additional school visits are planned in the coming months as part of the program, reinforcing the hospital’s broader mission to promote health awareness among the youth.
