Mom & Baby Open Day – Celebrating World Breastfeeding Week

Al Salam Hospitals recently hosted a special Mom & Baby event to mark World Breastfeeding Week, bringing together mothers and healthcare professionals for a day of practical guidance, education, and support during the early stages of motherhood. The event, held at Al Salam Al Assima Hospital, combined educational lectures with interactive workshops covering the benefits of breastfeeding, postpartum mental health, newborn care, and mother-baby communication.

Specialists from our Maternity Education Center, Patient Educational Center, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Physiotherapy, Nutrition, Dermatology, and Anesthesia shared their expertise, providing mothers with practical advice and multidisciplinary support for both their own well-being and their baby’s health.
