Al Salam Hospitals Marks 13th Annual Safety Week with Three Days of Activities Across Both Hospitals

Al Salam Hospitals successfully concluded its 13th Annual Safety Week, bringing together healthcare professionals, staff, patients and visitors for three days of activities at Al Salam Al Assima Hospital and Al Salam Al Ahmadi Hospital under the theme “Safety in Every Step, Excellence in Every Outcome.”

The three-day program featured two community engagement days, held across both hospitals, with interactive awareness activities designed to educate patients, visitors and staff on key aspects of safety, including infection prevention and control, patient safety and risk awareness.

The program also included a staff panel discussion focused on the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration in identifying, managing and reducing safety risks across the hospital environment. Bringing together representatives from different departments, the discussion highlighted how coordinated efforts, proactive risk management, and shared accountability contribute to safer healthcare delivery.

Through the active participation of medical, nursing and administrative teams, Safety Week provided a platform for knowledge sharing, cross-departmental engagement and reinforcing best practices in safety and quality.
