Epistaxis

Objectives:    
• Recognize the common causes and clinical presentations of epistaxis.
• Assess the severity of epistaxis and identify patients at risk of significant blood loss.
• Apply a systematic, stepwise approach to the initial assessment and management of epistaxis in the emergency department.
• Identify patients who require ENT evaluation or intervention.
