How do I get to Al Salam International
hospital?

Where do I check in?
· Check in for your surgery at the Admissions O�ce, which is located on
ground floor.
�e hospital address is Port Said Street, Bnaid Algar, Kuwait City, 36202
(See map on page 13 of this packet).
Where will I go a�er I check in?
· When your admission process is completed, you will be directed to go to the
assigned ward or unit.
Why do I need to meet the
anesthesiologist?
Check with your surgeon
· Your Anesthesiologist will review the material that your physician has
provided in the anesthesia clinic and go over your medical history and the
anesthesia plan with you in detail and answer all your questions.
. �e Department of Anesthesiology may call you the night before surgery,
although this is not necessary for all patients. �e anesthesia team will review you
again & go over your history, once you get admitted.
Where will my family or friends wait during
the surgery?
· �e surgical waiting area is located on the 2nd floor of Al Salam International
Hospital; or in the patient room itself.
